In order to make it easier for you to find answers before your well-deserved vacation, we have collected some frequently asked questions from our guests about bookings, arrival, departure, our restaurant, the spa area, sports facilities, guest rooms and the hotel NockResort in general.

Arrival / check-in at the NockResort

What time can I move into my room?

On the day of arrival, you will receive your room by 3 p.m. at the latest. We try to give you your room as soon as it is ready - in many cases this is possible before 3:00 p.m. On request and depending on availability, we also offer an early check-in including a lunch snack for € 49 per person - please contact us using our contact form.

 

Where can I park my car?

We offer a parking space in our underground car park for every guest. The underground car park consists of 3 parking decks, which are directly connected to the hotel

 

Can I check in at a late hour?

Our reception is open until 10:00 p.m. every day. If you arrive after 10:00 p.m., please let us know in good time so that we are prepared, and your check-in is as pleasant as possible for you.

 

Which airport is the closest to NockResort?

Klagenfurt Airport can be reached in around 50 minutes by car from the hotel.

Other airports in the region are:

Ljubljana Airport (Ljubljana): approx. 1.5 hours

Graz Airport: approx. 2 hours

Salzburg Airport: approx. 2 hours

 

Which train station is the closest to NockResort?

The Spittal-Millstätter See and Villach train stations can be reached by car from NockResort in around 35 minutes.

Klagenfurt main train station is around 50 minutes by car from the hotel.

 

What is the best way to get from the airport / train station to the hotel?

You can find more information on our Location & Arrival page.

We are happy to organize the transfer from the airport to the Hotel NockResort for you. There is the possibility of a shuttle transfer or a private taxi. Please reserve your transfer in advance using our contact form.

Departure / check-out at NockResort

When do I have to vacate my room on the day of departure?

We ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you would like to spend the entire day of departure with us, you are welcome to inquire at reception or via our contact form whether a late check-out is possible and then book it for € 49 per person including a lunch snack/soup.

 

What is the best way to get from the hotel to the airport / train station?

You can order a transfer at any time directly at our reception or via our contact form. We ask you to book your transfer at least one day in advance so that your journey home is as pleasant as possible.

 

Which bank cards can I use to pay my bill at the hotel?

We accept Visa, Diners, Mastercard and Maestro cards at our hotel reception. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express cards.

Booking / reservation in the NockResort

Where do I book my room at the best price?

We always offer the best price directly on our NockResort website. You have the choice of either completing your booking directly online or using our non-binding contact form. We guarantee a booking at the best price for both.

 

I have a specific question about my booking, who can I contact?

If you have any questions, please contact us directly using our contact form - we will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

How can I cancel my booking / reservation?

You can only cancel your booking / reservation in writing using our contact form or by email. Please note that according to our cancellation conditions, costs for your cancellation may apply. Our cancellation conditions are based on the Austrian Hotel Regulations and are as follows:

We will take care of your booking cancellation and confirm it in writing - and we hope that we will be able to welcome you next time to our 4-star hotel in the Nock mountains in Carinthia.

 

How can I change my booking / reservation?

Please contact us through our contact form so that we can follow up on your change request as soon as possible.

Culinary at NockResort

What does the ¾ board include?

Our gourmet ¾ board includes the breakfast buffet, a lunch snack and a multi-course evening menu or themed buffet. Non-alcoholic drinks from our drinking fountain are available free of charge with every meal. Depending on the time of the theme, further culinary highlights can be included in the gourmet board.

 

When can I have breakfast?

Our breakfast buffet opens daily at 7:30 a.m.

 

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

Yes, breakfast is always included with every booking.

 

What time does the lunch snack/soup start?

Our lunch snack takes place daily from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can also order a selection of dishes from our à la carte menu at the hotel bar at any time.

 

When does dinner take place?

Our dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. (the children's buffet at 6:00 p.m.).

We kindly ask everyone to show up at the restaurant no later than 8:00 p.m. If you cannot make it before 8:00 p.m., please notify us in good time.

 

Do I have to pay for drinks directly in the restaurant?

No. You can always have your drink orders from the restaurant and our hotel bar added to your room bill.

 

Which table do I have in the restaurant?

On the evening of your day of arrival, you will be assigned your table for dinner and breakfast by our head waiter. At lunchtime you can freely choose your table.

 

I am allergic to certain foods; will I be able to get appropriate dishes?

Yes, of course. Please inform us of your food allergy requirements in good time so that we can offer you an appropriate menu.

 

Is the hotel restaurant vegetarian-friendly?

Yes. Our multi-course evening meals always include at least one vegetarian main course to choose from.

 

What dishes are there for my children?

For our younger guests we prepare a special children's buffet with soup, main course and dessert every evening. The children's dinner buffet already opens at 6 p.m.

Spa area in the NockResort

Do I have to bring my own bath towel for the spa?

No. We provide a bath towel for our NockSpa area for each guest. You will receive this directly on site. We ask you to put your bath towel in one of the containers provided for it after use.

 

Is there a sauna in the spa area?

Yes, in our NockSpa area you will find a Finnish sauna (90 ° C) and a stone pine sauna (70 ° C). Both saunas offer a wonderful panoramic view of the Nock mountain landscape.

 

Is there a steam bath in the spa area?

Yes, there is a steam bath in the sauna area of the NockSpa.

 

Where can I book a massage or cosmetic treatment?

You can book your massage or cosmetic treatments either directly at our hotel reception or in advance using our contact form. The treatment rooms for massages and cosmetic treatments are located directly in the NockSpa area.

Sports at NockResort

What sports does the hotel offer?

In the hotel we offer a squash court, a bouldering wall, a gym with cardio and strength machines and a table tennis room with two tables.

 

Which sports can you practice in the immediate vicinity?

In summer, the Nock mountains region is particularly popular for hiking and mountain biking. But also, road biking, golf and tennis are among the many sporting opportunities in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

In winter, of course, skiing and snowboarding are the most popular sports in Bad Kleinkirchheim. But there are also many other great activities off-piste, such as cross-country skiing, ski touring or sledding.

Rooms at NockResort

Is there a hair dryer, towels, shower gel and shampoo in the room?

Yes, there is a hairdryer, bathrobes and towels in each of our guest rooms. We also provide shower gels and hair shampoo.

 

Are there barrier-free rooms?

Yes, some of our guest rooms and suites are barrier-free. If you need a barrier-free room, please inquire about it when making a reservation / booking. You can also use our contact form to find out whether your booked room is barrier-free.

 

In which part of the hotel is my room located?

The NockResort consists of two buildings:

  • Main building: room types 'Rosennock', 'Brunnach', 'Maibrunn', 'Double room superior' and 'Double room standard'
  • Kristall building: room types 'Magdalena', 'Rudolf', 'Hubertus', 'Untererm Dach', 'Maximilian' and 'Talblick', 'Double room standard'

 

Is there a safe in my room?

Yes. Each of our guest rooms and each of our suites has a programmable safe.

 

Is there a minibar in the room?

Some of our guest rooms and suites have minibars.

 

Is there a possibility of an extra bed in my room?

In certain room categories, an extra bed is possible for an additional person. Our prices for an additional person in the same room vary depending on the room category. Please contact our reservation team in this regard using this contact form.

 

Is there a possibility of a cot in my room?

Yes. Please let us know if you would like a cot in your room when making your reservation / booking. If you would like to reserve a cot after completing your booking, please contact us here.

Yes, you can use our highspeed wireless internet throughout the hotel site free of charge.

 

Is there room service?

Is the tap water drinking water?

Yes absolutely! Thanks to the many high and mineral-rich mountains in the region, the tap water in our hotel is very excellent drinking water.
